HOW IT WORKS

SCADA MASTERS NEURO

SCADA MASTERS utilize a proprietary version of the Davicom © NEURO for the REMOTE SITE (like an intelligent RTU) to interface with a variety of transducers, sensors, radios, and similar products. It is typically equipped with 8 analog, 8 digital, and 5 relay controls, but is customizable to meet each Client’s specific needs.

The SCADA MASTERS NEURO holds up to five (5) internal “boards” in any combination.

Analog boards control eight (8) analog inputs for water levels, voltages, and similar levels so as to measure a host of sensors including Temperature, Moisture, Radio Power Output, Antenna VSWR, lightning strikes, and much, much more. Many of these are available directly from SCADA MASTERS.

Digital Relay board control eight (8) digital inputs for monitoring site entry, radio keyed, and the typical site security and control, all in one package.
One (1) Relay Board provides five (5) relays for controlling pumps, valves, alarms, and similar items associated to a remote site.

UNIQUE to the intelligent SM NEURO, it communicates DIRECTLY to another SM NEURO (for example a water tank) to totally control that sub-system in stand-alone fashion. EXAMPLE: A Water Tank site and the Pump/Valve site operate INDEPENDENTLY from the other Sub-Systems or MASTER SITE!

At a SEWAGE LIFT STATION one (1) SM NEURO can provide ALL functions of level and pump control, yet be “Polled” for assured operation and status.

Though STAND-ALONE, SM NEUROS may be POLLED by the SM CORTEX for both site acquisition and display but also to provide MANUAL COMMANDS to remotely control any REMOTE SITE.

The companion SM Digital Radio-Modem provides full digital control, rather than relying on the internet! CRITICAL SYSTEMS require operation, even during disasters.

SITES are based on 12VDC so use BATTERY BACKUP and may utilize SOLAR PANELS for longer-term operation!

SCADA MASTERS CORTEX

SCADA MASTERS utilizes a proprietary version of the Davicom © CORTEX 320 for the MASTER SITE (like an intelligent MTU). SM CORTEX is BROWSER BASED so that it works right on your existing computers, tablets, and similar devices to display and control the system both LOCALLY and REMOTELY (via VPN or similar remote access) network to:

  • POLL NEUROS

  • DISPLAY POLLED INFORMATION in a multitude of methods including standard and custom graphics

  • INTERFACE with a variety of transducers, sensors, radios, and similar products.

  • Be Customizable to meet each Client’s specific needs.

SM CORTEX 320 comes standard with:

  •  Ethernet Port

  •  2 USB Ports

  • SNMP Agent

  • Direct-Connect I/O block for Local Monitoring

  • Modbus Master for up to 8 slaves (not compatible with RTU Modbus or older systems requiring external Software Programs to act a an MTU).

  • Twelve (12) Versatile Analog inputs

  • Four (4) dedicated Digital inputs

  • Five (5) relays for local controls

  • Neutrik 12VDC supply, allowing for both battery and solar backup operation

  • Rack Mount Tray

  • 1 RU half-width chassis

OPTIONS include;

  • Modem Package – providing email alerts, dial-up modem

  • Expandability via SM AXONs (Analog, Digital, Relay), SM Neuros, or additional SM Cortex 360.

  • CORTEX 360. Capable of handing a very large PLANT in a small package).  SM AXONs may be located at the other Local Lan Network locations from the SM Cortex.

SM AXON

AXONs may be utilized to expand the SM CORTEX at a MASTER SITE to economically expand

The number of ANALOG, DIGITAL, or RELAYS require for a large scale PLANT (MASTER).

OPTIONS:

  • NIO-8A - 8 ea. ANALOG inputs

  • NIO-8D - 8 ea. DIGITAL inputs

  • NIO-5R - 5 ea. Form C Relays
